Description The latest addition to Team Powers’ line of racing touring tyres is the new M compound tyre! Compared to SUs, they take a little longer to run in (1 complete run), but once run in, the grip remains fast and constant for more subsequent runs! They are able to match or exceed the lap times set by the SUs, but a set will remain in its optimal performance range for 1-2 race weekends instead of 2-3 runs! The 36M is the official Touring Car Spec tire of the 2023 1up Cup! They are for training/club races, are not marked for technical inspection and cannot be used in competition at the 1up Cup! Both compounds work well in the summer heat. 34M is perfect when surface temperatures exceed 85 °F and 36M begins to excel when surface temperatures exceed 100 °F. We recommend starting with the 34M and if they start to overheat during racing, switch to the 36M.
